Candlelight Poncho
On the charts, the sts between the heavy lines represent the 10-st repeat.
Using 4mm needles, CO 112 sts. Join into a rnd, being careful not to
twist sts. Place marker for beg of rnd. Beg with a P rnd, work 5 rnd,
garter st (p 1 rnd, k 1 rnd). Work final k rnd as follows: k 28, pm,
k 28, pm, k 28, pm, k 28.
Summer Socks
Bells
Cast on and work rib as for Sport Socks.
K 1 rnd.
Bells pattern:
In this pattern, yo and m 1 are tight increases, not lacy eyelet holes.
Knit them so they twist, and close up the hole.
Rnd 1: *p 7, k 1*,
repeat from * to * around.
Rnd 2: repeat rnd 1.
Rnd 3: *p 7, yo, k 1*,
repeat from * to * around.
Rnd 4: *p 7, k 2, m 1*,
repeat from * to * around.
Rnd 5: *p 7, yo, k 3,*,
repeat from * to * around.
Rnd 6: *p 7, k 4, m 1*,
repeat from * to * around.
Rnd 7: *p 7, yo, k 5*,
repeat from * to * around.
Rnd 8: *p 7, k 6, m 1*,
repeat from * to * around.
Rnd 9: *p 7, yo, k 7*,
repeat from * to * around.
Rnd 10: *p 7, k 8, m 1*, repeat from
* to * around.
Rnd 11: *p 7, yo, k 9*, repeat from
* to * around.
Rnd 12: *p 7, k 10, m 1*, repeat
from * to * around.
Rnd 13: *p 7, yo, k 11*, repeat from
* to * around.
Rnd 14: *p 7, k 12, m 1*, repeat

Rnd 15: *p 7, yo, k 13*, repeat from

Rnd 17: *p 7, bind off bell in
ribbing*, repeat from * to * around.
Count your sts! You may or may not
have 68. K 10 rnds, increasing to 72
sts in the 1st rnd.
Work heel and remainder of sock as for Sport Socks.

Rnd 1 is a set-up rnd. Work rnd 1, then repeat rnds 2 - 7 for pattern.
Last line should read:
Repeat rnds 2 - 7 for pattern. On last repeat of pattern, do not
slip sts in rnds 6 & 7.

to needle #1, ssk; repeat at end of each needle
Rnd 12: slip 1st
st on needle #1 to needle #3; at end of each needle, slip 1st st to
previous needle, then work the left twist

Fingering Weight: Gusset section, last sentence should read:
Repeat these two rnd until 64 (72, 80) sts remain.
Sport or DK Weight: Gusset section, last sentence should read:
Repeat these two rnd until 56 (64, 68) sts remain.
Worsted Weight: Leg section should read :
CO 36 (42, 48) sts. Divide onto 3 needles. Join in a
rnd, being careful not to twist sts. Work k 1, p 1 ribbing for desired
length. K 1 rnd, dec 6 sts evenly spaced. Begin tubular
entrelac. Alternate both rectangular rows until desired leg length is
reached. Finish with triangular finishing section. K 1 rnd, inc 6
sts everyly spaced. Work 3 more rnds in sto st.
Gusset section, last sentence should read:
Repeat these two rnd until 36 (40, 48) sts remain.
